Orthogonal rotates keep pixel fidelity; arbitrary angles resample onto a bounding box. JPG/WebP use a quality slider (default 92). PNG is lossless in the browser.
About 25 MB on typical desktops, or 12 MB on devices that report 4 GB of memory or less. Soft timeout is 60 seconds per image.
