Can I watermark an image without uploading?

Yes. Fogkits draws text or logo watermarks in your browser and encodes the result locally. The file never leaves this device for this tool.

Is the image watermark tool free?

Can I use a logo instead of text?

Yes. Switch to Image mode, upload a PNG/JPG/WebP logo (transparency works best), then size, opacity, rotate, and place it like text — including tile/repeat.

What does Tile / repeat do?

Tile spreads the watermark across the photo in a diagonal-friendly grid so a single crop cannot remove every mark. Opacity and rotation still apply.

Why is JPG the default output?

JPG is widely compatible for email, portfolios, and social uploads. Switch to PNG when you need transparency in the base image, or WebP for a modern web format.

Can I watermark multiple images at once?

Yes. Add up to 20 images, apply the same watermark recipe and output settings, Watermark all, then download selected or Download all as a ZIP when zipArchive is present in the Fogkits build.

What is the maximum image size?

About 25 MB on typical desktops, or 12 MB on devices that report 4 GB of memory or less. Soft timeout is 60 seconds per image.
