For a US passport photo, you should remove your glasses. The US Department of State does not allow glasses in passport photos except in rare cases where a doctor signs a statement explaining that they cannot be removed for medical reasons.

Why glasses cause passport photo problems
Frames can cover the area around the eyes, while lenses can reflect a window, lamp or camera flash. Tinted lenses also make it harder to see the eyes clearly.
Removing glare in an editor is not a reliable workaround. Digital editing can change the eye area and make the photo appear altered.
What to do before taking the photo
- Remove your glasses before positioning the camera.
- Wait briefly if the frames leave temporary marks on your nose.
- Face a broad, soft light source so both eyes are evenly lit.
